Department day Celebration 2018 Department Day was celebrated on 08/03/2018. Former HoD and Principal Rev Fr Jose Puthenkaduppil, Former HoD of Zoology Department G P George, College Principal Rev Dr James Philip, Pro Nirmala Joseph and all the teachers and students of Botany department were present in the meeting. In connection with International Forest Day , Bhoomitra Sena Club conducted a documentary Show. Two documentaries were showed. പച്ചതുള്ളികള്‍ (an imitative of Botany Department  ) and Jungles of Planet Earth series Film show

The prizes of different competition were distributed to the winners on the Merit Day of the College. Department of Botany in association with  Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment  conducted massive awareness programme on waste management and conducted organic farming training programmes in different schools in Kanjirapally educational district. Also published the the work in the form of a documentary.  The CD was released on College Day(06/03/2018) by Auxiliary Bishop of Kanjirapally Dioceses H E Mar Jose Pulickal.
